Infrared nanospectrocopy

Recent developments in infrared imaging techniques have boosted our understanding of amyloid structures at the subcellular level.

Here, we present a new method for studying amyloid structures combining two infrared nanoimaging approaches capable of nanoscale characterization of neurotoxic amyloid structures in situ. We used nanoIR spectroscopy to resolve pathological β-sheet structures with nanometer spatial resolution in individual neurons (1.)
